Camping Rules for The Best of America Ride

  1. Camping will be allowed from Noon on Thursday October 9th to noon on Monday October 13th No early arrivals will be allowed. Fee is $20.00 per night in advance only.

  2. Campers must check in with the parking officials and show all current coggins and rabies & EHV-1 certificates before proceeding to their designated area and/or unloading horse(s)

  3. Paddock size is limited to not more than 20'x20' per horse and only 2 horses per campsite or another site must be rented. PLEASE BE ADVISED, this will be enforced to allow for the large number of campers expected. Thank you in advance for your compliance.

  4. Please spread manure on the field before departure.

  5. No riding or parking on the ball field area.

  6. No riding after dark.

  7. No campfires, only grills or free standing enclosed fireplaces.

  8. Quite time 10:00 PM. Sorry about the hourly town clock chime. . .  you'll see what we mean. . .

  9. Dogs are discouraged but if you must, they need to be quiet and on a leash or tied at all times and you MUST clean up any "doggie doo". No dogs allowed on the ride.

  10. All riders under the age of 18 are required to wear an ASTM approved helmet while riding.

  11. No consumption on alcohol in the public areas.

  12. Water will be available at a central spot.

  13. Hay may be available to purchase.

  14. Portable toilets will be available but there are no showers or running water. . . except the Ellis River which borders the camping field.

  15. Memory Lane Vacations will be requiring all horses to be immunized as follows: Along with our regular Coggins and Rabies rules we need proof of vaccination for EHV-1 not more than six months or less than 14 days before entry onto our property.

Camping officials reserve the right to remove any camper
without restitution that does not adhere to the rules above.
